About me.

I am an ag scientist with 12+ years experience in research and agribusiness. I’ve worked in Cucurbita spp. and Vitis vinifera plant breeding programs focused on improving yield, eating quality, and resistance to biotic and abiotic stressors, as well as on projects evaluating new cultivars and alternative production systems for commercial growers. I have significant experience with strawberry (in vitro and field), cucurbits, tomatoes, vinifera and labrusca grapes (in vitro and field), onions, and winter greens.

I hold a BA in Communications and a MS in Agricultural Sciences from the University of New Hampshire and am currently pursuing an MBA at the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts. I love working with plants in the field, conducting data analyses and writing, and collaborating with growers and researchers from around the country and world — as I am truly passionate about supporting agribusiness.
